Skate Classes

We offer a variety of Skate Classes at Cal Skate!

These are sessions that include instruction for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skaters of all ages along with plenty of practice time to your favorite music.

Walk in and pay on site for any of our classes.

Saturday – “Get Rolling” Open Public Skate 10am-11:30am – All ages welcome. $15 Admission includes skate rental. Our teaching staff are available to assist new skaters to “get rolling” – PERFECT time for beginner skaters to come learn to skate and have time to practice their new skills.

Saturday – Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Skate Skills Class 11:30am-12:00pm – All ages welcome. Class is for advanced beginner or intermediate quad skaters of all ages! (Skaters must be able to quad skate without assistance on free rolling wheels) $60 per month (paid the first Saturday each month) INCLUDES the 10:00-11:30am Open Public Skate Session followed by the 11:30am-12:00pm Skills Class. Learn to increase your speed, stopping techniques, one-footed balancing skills, edging, turning, backwards skills, crossing, beginning jumps and spins, basic dance moves, and more!

Wednesday – Inline Speed Skate Class – Open to youth & adults. Arrive 15 minutes early to register. Must be able to inline skate at a beginner level to participate. Wednesday afternoons 4:30-6:00pm. $20 admission includes instruction and skate rental.

Tuesday – Adults Only (18+) Skate Class with IGS – Experienced, Intermediate or Beginner Adult Skaters are welcome to join our Tuesday 6-7:00pm drop-in adult skate class with Ignacia! Learn new skills and dances to good music. Open to all adults at all levels of experience! $25 for the class and the following 7-9:30pm session is included! Bring tennis shoes and be ready to learn.

Friday – Adults & Teens Open Skate 10:00am-11:30am – Open skate for Adults & Teens only. Includes 20 minutes of group instruction for all skill levels. $15 Admission with skate rental included as needed.
