After being closed to the general public for a full year; Cal Skate is excited to announce that because our County has moved to the “Red Tier” we have re-opened under “Sports Fitness” guidelines at 10% occupancy.
We are now offering “Skate for Fitness” sessions and classes as well as Private “Skate for Fitness” Sessions for a group of 15-65 people during non public hours. We will have the same fun music and atmosphere that is associated with Cal Skate with an emphasis on “Fitness” and everyone practicing their skating skills.
Most of our “Skate for Fitness” sessions are 90 minutes in length and require online reservation and payment click here . Due to our restricted capacity under State guidelines, for the majority of sessions all spectators and skaters will be charged the admission fee to be in the building. (Our sessions that allow one free adult spectator to supervise a minor child will be clearly indicated on our website.) No food will be allowed to be brought into the facility (only water bottles). Our snack bar and arcade will remain closed at this time. A temperature check and health screening questionnaire will be completed upon arrival. Everyone will be required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and all other COVID19 protocol. Cleaning protocols will be in place in accordance with current guidelines.
Our “Skate for Fitness” classes are sessions that include instruction for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skaters of all ages along with plenty of practice time to your favorite music. All classes currently have room for new members. Registration and payment can be done upon arrival. A list of classes can be found here. If you have questions about which skating time is best for you, please email email@example.com with your question and a phone number to call you directly.
